After School Care

Wodonga South Primary School Out of Hours School Care provides child care under the Education and Care services National Regulations. We are Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved and offer a range of programs. We are licensed to provide care to 44 children before school, 70 children After school/Pupil Free Days/ Vacation Care and offer a maximum of 20 places on Foundation Play Days.

Each child must a completed enrolment form before being able to attend.

The programs that we offer are as follows:

Before School Care
During Before School Care children can have breakfast (At an additional cost) which includes, Hot or cold drinks, cereals, toast and fruit. Children can participate in a range of age appropriate activities that are offered as part of our child orientated program.

After School Care
During After School Care we supply children with afternoon tea which includes a variety of fresh and dried fruits, cheese, rice crackers and biscuits. Occasionally there is special afternoon teas these are usually the last day of each term. Children can participate in a range of age appropriate activities that are offered as part of our child orientated program.

Pupil Free Days / Vacation Care
During Pupil Free Days and Vacation Care Children can have breakfast in the morning (At an additional cost) which includes, Hot or cold drinks, cereals, toast and fruit. Children can then participate in the planned program of age appropriate activities for the day.  We supply children with afternoon tea which includes a variety of fresh and dried fruits, cheese, rice crackers and biscuits. During some Vacation Care days we may go out on excursion or we may have visitors come and do an incursion some of these are at additional costs. Some of the excursions that we take the children on are Movies, Ten Pin Bowling, local parks, Albury Library Museum, Indoor play centres……. Some of the incursions that we have attend our service are Eco Inquire (STEM), Bricks 4 Kids, Local Aboriginal Elders and community, Reptile Encounters, Local Emergency Services and many more.

Foundation Play Days
During the month of February the new Foundation students have each Wednesday off  school. Care is offered for the whole day 6.30am-6.30pm. On these days the staff get to know the new Foundation students and know their likes and dislikes to help them in future programming and planning. Children can have breakfast in the morning (At an additional cost) which includes, Hot or cold drinks, cereals, toast and fruit. Children can then participate in a range of age appropriate activities for the day.  We supply children with afternoon tea which includes a variety of fresh and dried fruits, cheese, rice crackers and biscuits.
